DAY 1 - ARRIVE CHRISTCHURCH
On arrival in Christchurch, ‘The Garden City’, seat in coach passengers will be met by our local representative and privately transferred to your hotel. Self drive passengers will collect your rental car at the airport and drive to your hotel.
DAY 2 - CHRISTCHURCH – QUEENSTOWN
Travel across the fertile Canterbury Plains before arriving at Lake Tekapo. Continue south to the small town of Twizel before traveling through the historic Central Otago region to Lake Wakatipu and the ‘Alpine Resort’ of Queenstown.DAY 3 - MILFORD SOUND
Follow the southern arm of Lake Wakatipu to Lumsden, and onward to Lake Te Anau. Enter the Eglinton Valley and travel through the breath taking man made Homer Tunnel to reach Milford Sound. Enjoy a cruise on this world famous fiord, dominated by Mitre Peak and the cascading Bowen Falls. Return to Queenstown.
DAY 4 – QUEENSTOWN
A free day to explore the endless optional attractions available. Queenstown offers bungy jumping, jetboating, white water rafting, gondola rides and much more. Optional activities not included in the tour price.
DAY 5 - QUEENSTOWN - MT COOK - CHRISTCHURCH
Travel through the Central Otago region and on to Twizel. Follow the shores of Lake Pukaki to Mt Cook or Aoraki’, the cloud piercer. Visit the Church of the Good Shepherd at Lake Tekapo before travelling across the Canterbury Plains to arrive in Christchurch.
DAY 6 - DEPARTURE DAY
Your arrangements conclude today with a departure transfer or the return of your rental car. We trust you enjoyed your Kiwiway Vacation!

DAY 1: AUCKLAND - On arrival in Auckland, you will be met by our local representative and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at your leisure.
DAY 2: AUCKLAND - HAMILTON - ROTORUA
Join a scheduled coach this morning for the drive to Rotorua. Depart New Zealand's largest city, through lush farmlands of Waikato, to Hamilton and the Mamaku Ranges to reach Rotorua.
DAY 3: ROTORUA
Today sightseeing tour visits the Agrodome for a show featuring New Zealand’s various sheep breeds and a shearing demonstration. See brown and rainbow trout and also the native kiwi bird at Rainbow Springs Park. Continue to the Skyline Gondola park for spectacular views over Rotorua (including a complimentary luge ride). Time for optional activities this afternoon before a traditional Maori Hangi (feast) and concert this evening.
DAY 4: ROTORUA - WAITOMO – AUCKLAND -
Cross the Mamaku Ranges to the dairy and farming areas of the Waikato. At Waitomo, you will have a guided tour of the limestone caverns and glowworm grotto. Continue through to Auckland, where you will take a short city tour, including the downtown area, Waterfront Drive and a visit to the top of Sky Tower, the tallest building in the Southern Hemisphere.
DAY 5: AUCKLAND - BAY OF ISLANDS -
Cross Auckland's Harbour Bridge and drive north along the Hibiscus Coast to Matakohe and the Kauri Museum telling the story of the Kauri tree and the regions' early settlement. Continue north through Kawakawa to Paihia, where we meet our local Maori guide, a descendant of the original settlers of the region, who will provide a comprehensive insight and history of the Bay of Islands before a visit to New Zealand's birthplace Waitangi. A self guided tour through the famous Treaty House, the Maori Meeting House and giant war canoe all set in spectacular grounds overlooking the bay. Stay:
DAY 6: BAY OF ISLANDSA day free for you to relax and enjoy many optional activities available.
DAY 7: BAY OF ISLANDS - AUCKLAND -
launch cruise will take you across the Bay and world acclaimed fishing grounds to Cape Brett and the famous 'Hole in the Rock'. Returning to Paihia, board your coach for the journey south through Whangarei and Warkworth passing the satellite tracking station. Shortly Auckland City and Harbour come into view. Stay:
DAY 8: DEPART AUCKLAND –
Today’s day will be at your own leisure until you transfer to the airport for your flight home.
